Having professional headshots taken isn't something most people do every day, so it's completely normal to feel a little uncertain. Whether you need a professional business headshot, a LinkedIn headshot, or a corporate portrait, every session begins with a pre-session planning consultation. Together, we'll discuss how you want to present yourself, the message you want your headshot to communicate, and make decisions about wardrobe, lighting, and background to create images that align with your personal brand.
During your headshot session, I'll guide you through flattering poses and natural expressions while photographing on both white and dark grey backgrounds, giving you a selection of polished, professional images to choose from. You can review your portraits in the studio or through a private online proofing gallery at your convenience.
Your session includes two professionally retouched headshots, prepared for both web and print, so you'll have everything you need for your website, LinkedIn profile, marketing materials, and business communications.

Headshot Process with KDG Photography
Step 1 - Click on the link to book your session.
Step 2 - Kathryn will connect with you on a planning call prior to the shoot date to discuss your wardrobe, background and lighting requirements.
NOTE: Your company's marketing department may have specific requirements for headshots, so please be prepared to share them with Kathryn at this time.
Step 3 - show up at KDG Photography Studio conveniently located in Bonnington, BC - halfway between Nelson and Castlegar. Directions will be shared with you during our planning call.
Step 4 - the photoshoot will last approximately 20 minutes during which time Kathryn will guide you through various poses including head and shoulders on both a white and dark grey backgrounds.
NOTE: If your company requires multiple individuals to be photographed, please contact Kathryn directly.
Step 5 - Make your image selections on the spot or request a password protected on-line gallery.
Step 6 - Your final images will be retouched, cropped, sized to your specifications and delivered to you within 3 business days.
Step 7 - Go home and relax. Your job is done!
